Bartender (Front of House)

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable bartender to join the Blackthorn team! This role involves managing the front of house and ensuring guests have a great experience in our laid-back neighborhood pub.

Responsibilities:

• Perform opening duties, including mopping floors, taking chairs down, wiping tables, cutting fruit, filling the ice bucket, and checking that bathrooms are in order.
• Turn on all lights, games, TVs, music, and fans before opening.
• Take all in-store orders and handle the cash register.
• Answer phone orders when time allows.
• Make basic cocktails and pour beer from the tap.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout your shift.

Schedule:
We’re especially looking for team members available Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings, and Sunday mornings/evenings.

Ideal candidate:

• Has bartending or restaurant experience (preferred but not required).
• Is dependable, personable, and thrives in a casual, community-focused environment.
• Can handle fast-paced shifts with professionalism and good humor.
